We have expanded our MDG e-consultation group into a wider group for youth to discuss issues, share information and connect on the MDGs. As we move forward in 2005, it proves to be a very important year for the MDGs. Not only because it is the +5 review of the Millennium Declaration, but also because this year has also been called the ‘make it or break it’ year for MDGs and progress is especially important now to make the MDGs a success by 2015.
There is so much going on internationally around the MDGs this year that we wanted to have an arena to engage youth in dialogue and networking to expand our thoughts and visions around the MDGs.
We hope that in broadening the group from the e-consultation members to others interested in the MDGs, we will build a strong momentum on youth issues around them. Together we will aim to have a youth voice at the front of the MDGs!
