Merry prospects in your future actions for emergence for a responsible youth and citizen. We hope that everyone arrived well and that the memories of the Summit of Lisbon will remain engraved in our collective memory. Youth Euro-African was delighted by this meeting again which came at the time when the prejudices and/or incomprehension were too visible. These differences masked the capital of convergence and opportunities which must link us or gather. Today it returns to us to develop to center it North-South through activities of youth, exchanges intercultural and mobility. Of return of a mission in Africa during all December 2007, I sending you this note in order to assure you the initiative of â /virtual bridge â having to bind Europe to Africa . We took the historical responsability to develop a program in this direction in partnership with all the Organizations present at the Summit of Lisbon. African and European youth does not know itself sufficiently to develop partnerships, to exchange programs, to tie alliances or lobby for causes with regard to them. The principal reason is the lack of support enabling them to be able to exchange information, to speak easily at lower cost and to tie partnerships. I had proposed to you, since the Summit of Youth, to create this support to facilitate all that. The base of this project would be the division of information on our principal activities and experiments, the creation of a bank of data facilitating research of partnership between various African and European associations, the facilitation of the mobility of the young people and the exchanges intercultural. It will be a question of placing at your disposal this information in order to make the communication more fluid and to surmount certain obstacles and prejudices. Also the mobility of the young people in its two continents will be easier with greater information on the reception facilities for the trainees and of reliability for the young researchers. The operation of this structure will be very light and will not have the ambition to federate the Organizations. We want simply to create the conditions of a frank and direct exchange between two youths which are condamned to work together. Our objective can be summarized with: - the search and publication for information on the Organizations of European and African youth, - facilitation of contact between young African and European , - the division of experiments on the activities concerning the young people and the Organizations of youth - the publication of information on international events, - the diffusion of a monthly magazine on the stakes of the policy of youth enters EU and Africa. - Thus it will be requested from the Organizations of youth to send information on their respective structures to us in order to better feed this data base and to allow a broad diffusion of information.
