Sujet: aids patients buried alive,a call for probe

  The attention of our organisation has been drawn by a BBC report on the above mentioned isues,that some people with HIV/AIDS in Papue New Guinea are being buried alive by their relatives a health worker has said.
The BBC report quoted one Margrate Marabe siad families were taken the extreme action becouse they could no longer look after victimes of feared catching the disease them selves.BBC report quoted Marabe said she saw the "live burials"with her own eyes during her five months social work in that country.
We members of World Youth Leadership Forum conderms intotality this act of wickedness and call opon th Prime Minister of Papue New Guinea His Excllency Sir Micheal Somare to carryout a proper investigation on this isue,and if found to be true,the pepertrators must be brought to justice.
We conderms all forms of discriminations against victims of HIV/AIDS and also wish to use this oppurtunity to make a passionate appeal to the international organisation to come to the assistance of HIV/AIDS victims in Papua New Guinea.
