In order to activate the role of youth in sustainable development of their countries is the idea of this initiative, which aims to make local debate on the most important issues facing underdeveloped countries, and to turn this debate to the field of local development through workshops and training and public policy through dialogue with the decision makers and related institutions. Youth developmental initiative seeks to empower youth groups and their integration into the development process and development planning, because the survival of the planning process limited to the developmental priorities of political elites and decision makers makes the process incomplete.
So the expand options for all segments of society through active participation is essential foundation for human development that is not limited to economic aspects, political, social, but only start towards strengthening and empowerment of other groups, especially the youth and strengthen their sense of the ability to participate and influence.

قصد تفعيل دور الشباب في التنمية المستدامة لبلدانهم تأتي فكرة هذا المبادرة التي تهدف لإحداث نقاش محلي حول أهم القضايا التي تواجه البلدان المتخلفة، وليتحول هذا النقاش لآلية ميدانية للتنمية المحلية من خلال الورش والتدريبات والسياسات العامة عبر الحوار مع صناع القرار والمؤسسات ذات العلاقة. شباب تنموي مبادرة تسعى لتمكين المجموعات الشبابية ودمجها في عملية التنمية والتخطيط التنموي، لان بقاء عملية التخطيط التنموي مقصورة على أولويات النخب السياسية وصانعي القرار تجعلها عملية منقوصة.
فتوسيع الخيارات أمام كل فئات المجتمع من خلال المشاركة الفاعلة هو الركيزة الأساسية للتنمية البشرية التي لا تقتصر على الجوانب الاقتصادية و السياسية والاجتماعية فقط و إنما تنطلق نحو التقوية و التمكين للفئات الأخرى وعلى رأسها الشباب و تعزيز الحس لديهم بالقدرة على المشاركة والتأثير.
