  Hello everyone

My name is Sokhna, I am a Senegalese, but my English is not so good, even I can understand what is writing.

But I will try to answer in English

1) What is your role in this process?

I was not and I am not involved in ICT4D policy in my country. But I have participated to the ICV symposium organised in Dakar in octobre.

However since tree years I work in ICT projects elaborated by some NGO.

In fact I was first in Afrique Initiatives, where I have participated in developing a ICT services platform which respond to local needs.

For example for the children aged between 1 month and 5 years, there was a service that followed close their weight and we transferred data through the platform to a doctor.

Another service gave informations in weather forecast to local fishermen.

I worked also in an enterprise named MANOBI, which gave informations about price of fruits and vegetables in local markets to the producers through WAP System.

Now I work in WARF WEST AFRICAN RURAL FOUNDATION based in SENGAL where we have a project of implementing information
