The WacKOS Resource Center is a project intended for the intellectual enrichment of the students of the Kulliyyah of Science. The center aims to provide tools and resources that will enable students to participate in activities geared towards personal growth and independence, which will encourage and allow them to contribute positively to their immediate environment. Although funding and running costs of the project shall initially be borne by the Kulliyyah of Science, the center plans to generate its own supportive income by means of a small café set up within the vicinity. Resources such as books, magazines and other reading materials can be obtained through affiliations with organizations and book clubs around Malaysia. Ultimately the project also plans to fund and support its cause through requests for donations from various companies and non governmental organizations (NGOs), as well as through various fundraising efforts. Currently the WacKOS Resource Center project is in its planning stages, and is looking for more information and feedback.
