Description:
STUDENT WRITERS CLUB

Student writers club was founded by Mubiru Ronnie, male aged 24 and Ugandan (founder of global Information center Uganda website: www.gicug.com and Community youth and child support organization www.cycso.8k.com but all still lacks funding to grow. His photo: http://gicug.com/rn1.html ).He founded SWC this project to connect, educate, motive and inspire students around the world through their common love of writing, to foster excellence in student writing and to develop computer literacy, creativity and critical thinking skills among participants.

Students will be able to post their original writings to our writers WebPages. They then have the opportunity to read the postings of other students and send constructive cristism to form a thread. Once students receive this feedback from their peers they can edit their work and post a final version to the news group. An online editorial board, made up of teachers around, choose exemplary pieces from these posted as final versions and submit them to some international magazines where they are put together to form the journal and or Published in SWC MAGAZINE, which will be introduced later.

The website is under construction, but a sample of it is here: http://swc2.gicug.com/indextry8.html

The project has already got 6 committed students to act as project ambassadors for their countries and we are still recruiting more ambassadors, Districts/states and or schools representatives

INTEDED PARTICIPANTS
The project is mainly targeting students in primary and secondary schools but even the university students/individuals will be encouraged to participant in some programs that are intended to equip the general public with self reliance skills (in particular; KEY TO PROSPERITY PROGRAM- intended to help young people acquire the necessary enterprises skills that will inevitably lead them to overcome poverty and become rich.
