Sexuality is an integral part of human life and general well being. It encompasses feelings that are experienced and expressed in language, thoughts, beliefs, attitudes, values, behaviors, practices, and relationships.

Conservative societies are, by definition, reluctant to talk about sex. A fact we’re living: sexual education in Lebanon is accidental… Students rarely have any exposure to sex education.

Lebanese students’ only access to information about sex is by picking up bits and
pieces of information from various unreliable sources such as the Internet, television
and pure hearsay. “

It is time we come to terms with the present reality in Lebanon: Young people have become
more sexually active, and they need to better understand how to be responsible.

Sexual education in Lebanon is accidental… let’s not keep it as such!
