The Society for Health Environment and Women’s Development (SHEWD) is a non- governmental, not-for-profit organization working in the Lalitpur district of Nepal. Since it’s founding in 1998, SHEWD has been dedicated to working for the interests of the poor in the community on issues of health, computer education, environment and women’s empowerment.
Living in the community, we came to know that there is unskilled and unemployed manpower in the local community. If they may be trained in a skill, then they could participate in income generating and could be employed. This organization is formed to provide suitable training & income-generating projects to fulfill their basic needs.
