Who we are
Room For Improvement Youth Development (RFI) is a non profit organization founded on the 8th February of 2006 by University of Saskatchewan students and has since been joined by many others worldwide. We currently have about 400 members in the organization, a number that is constantly on the rise.

What we do
1. The mission of Room For Improvement is to foster social development in disadvantaged communities by helping the youths to rediscover their self-esteem, hope so as to fulfill their dreams. We aim to focus our efforts to fight and provide youths globally with their basic needs, especially education; to make this world One!

2. Thrive to sustain a strong community based organization capable of carrying out and realizing predefined goals; networking and raising funding to fulfil our primary mission above.

Projects

Room For Improvement has recognised a village, Musasa that is located in Rwanda, North of the capital city Kigali as the location to focus our first efforts. Musasa has a total of 908 orphans that are cared for by the Ruli Parish. The Parish is run by the St. Dominican nuns of Spain who have been on their mission in the area of Musasa since the 1970's. The nuns have sheltered, nourished and financed the children's education with the help of benefactors.
