We are committed to helping POGRE`EDU Initiative Uganda, a community based project in the slums of Uganda achieve its target.
POGRE`EDU works with widows and orphans in the slums of Kampala, to improve their social welfare. POGRE`EDU is involved in green initiatives that act as a means for widows and orphans to generate income and improve their livelihood.
The green initiatives involve, making 100% green products that are later sold by volunteers around the world to assist the widows and orphans.
Some of the products include; Necklaces made from waste paper, Shopping baskets made from organic sisal, Laptop bags made from organic cotton, shopping bags also from organic cotton, and something for the youths- beautiful bags for carrying books.
We need all the support from many, that they would join the large family of POGRE`EDU volunteers around the world to make the MDGs a reality.
