E-consultation for the 2009 Global Forum for Migration and Development

Dear Friends and Members of the Migration Group,
It is my pleasure to invite you to participate in the 2nd e-consultation on youth migration organized by Young People We Care. My name is Lindsay Bayham, and I'll be coordinating this year's consultation. Inspired by the success of last year's consultation, we are again hosting an online forum centered around the 3rd annual Global Forum on Migration and Development, held this year in Athens, Greece from November 2-3rd. We hope you'll share your experiences with migration and help us contribute to the Forum, which asks a new set of questions this year about migrant integration, circulation, communication, and human development.
As with last year, we will focus the consultation around the themes of the Forum, adding additional questions that are relevant to young migrants' experiences. You are welcome to comment on any issues you find particularly important that you believe we have left out. We will have three different weeks of questions, each moderated by a different person. More detailed instructions will follow in future emails, but I wanted to alert you to the forum in time for its start this Sunday.
We are again very pleased to have the support of TakingItGlobal and UNICEF's Rural Voices of Youth, who will forward our questions to young people without consistent access to the internet or digital devices.
Your participation, and that of any friends, relatives, or colleagues you wish to share the forum with, will greatly help us represent the youth voice to global migration policymakers.
