Description:
The MenEngage network in Asia & the Pacific is working with various key activists, national organisations, international organisations and UN agencies in the region who are standing against violence of all forms and also expanding its network by bringing onboard the men and boys who remain silent during any sort of violence, so that these men will break the silence and stand against all forms of violence but gender-based violence in particular. The Men Engage network is following the three following thematic areas: Advocacy & Policy; Capacity Building & Networking; and Research, Mapping & Resource Sharing. It has been playing very important role of facilitator for the countries of the region, in supporting implementation of their action plans, in sharing experiences and also coordinate campaign together not only at the country level but also at the regional level regardless of the political boundaries in the region.

Save the Children Sweden, Regional Office for South and Central Asia has been working as the regional secretariat for the MenEngage Regional Alliance in order to facilitate the process in the countries in the region.
