Description:
Malaria remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in many parts of Africa. Between one and two million African children, mainly under the age of five years, die from malaria every year, that accounts for 90% of all malaria deaths worldwide. These data shows that in Africa one child dies of malaria every 15 seconds.
Reports have it that Malaria cause more death than HIV and Tuberculosis put together.
Pregnant women and children under 5 years of age continue to constitute one of the most important risk groups

The objectives of this group are;
1. To create a forum for indept understanding of all aspect malaria (infection, Transmission,disease, Treatment, and control).
2.To come up with '"A PRACTICAL APPROACH TO CURB THE THREAT OF MALARIA CHALLENGE"
