cold lava flood from 4000 eruption of Mount Merapi forced the residents to evacuate. for 4 months since the eruption of Merapi end of October 2010 I have been assisting the refugees. ranging from emergency response to volcanic eruptions in the handling of displaced citizens against the threat of cold lava flood. for 4 months this is all the problems arise. ranging from housing, food, clothing, health, and education. with the cooperation of various institutions, we can handle.
there are a few things to note:
1. basic needs of refugees
2. education
3. health
4. place to live. hundreds of homes lost without the rest a result of large stones were swept cold lava of Merapi volcano. This time my friends and tean relawab is helpful to look for home access for residents whose homes lost
5. jobs. also lost their jobs because jobs are also buffeted by cold lava flood of Mount Merapi.
I\'m with friends volunteers are making a project for community empowerment. peberdayaan this society is reaping the potential of refugee communities to develop their creativity. such as painters, sculptors, craft makers, carpenters, and others. we accompany the refugees to manufacture products according to their expertise. product of the refugees will be rich and we sell our marketed so that has economic value. Our expectation is that refugees can still earn money even in a disaster.
