  Hi Everyone!

There is still time for you to submit to September's issue of Panorama:
Human Security.

Human security is about protecting and securing people live safe lives. It
shifts the focus off of securing the "state".
With the approach of "human security" things like poverty, disease, human
rights, economic instability and environmental degradation are just as
important threats to people's lives as the threat of conflict and war.
Threats to Human Security are present in all parts of our world; whether it
is the pollution
of industrial America, water scarcity in the villages of Kenya, unemployment
and discrimination in the banlieus of Paris, threats to freedom of the press
in the Philippines or violence in the streets of Baghdad.

We want you to submit your article on a topic of Human Security. Submissions
in any of the 12 languages supported by TakingITGlobal's platform are
welcome.
