ICPD +15 Outcomes: Implementing the African Youth Charter
Agenda: Five week consultation on ICPD +15 review taken at a continental level
Duration: 1st August – 4th September 2009
Method: Participants will discuss on structured questions based on the review report on the web
Anticipated Outcome of Consultation Report
1.Emerging issues of draft review report prepared by ECA and AU
2.Focus on African Youth Charter implementation and Recommendations on issues of integration
Plan of Action
Discussions will be moderated by a volunteer, who will also analyze the results of the discussion at the end of each week.
Use of Report
1.To provide issues of discussion for Youth delegates to ICPD +15 Parliamentary and Ministerial Meetings
2.Supplementary ICPD +15 Youth Report Progress
3.Set an agenda for operationalzing the sexual health and rights component of the Youth Charter Plan of Action.
