Thanks for your invitation .I will make it a point to attend this forum. I would like to give a brief introduction about myself am Harrison Adom a programme co-ordinator for Vision for youth and child development .VYCD is a community - based youth-led NGO in Haatso a suburb of Accra which was formed in may 2001 by two concern parents who saw the plight of young poeple in the area and decided to use that channel to avert the situation.
Some of our areas of interest includes HIV/AIDS , youth activities and youth sexuality . i am trained HIV/AIDS peer counsellor by Ghana Aids commission .

The Global Youth Action Network (GYAN) Ghana Country Office extends its compliment to you.
As part of our commitments to accelerated call for a national legislation to prevent vulnerable youth in Ghana from cyber crime, GYAN-Ghana in collaboration with Ghana Media Advocacy Programme (G-MAP) and HORIZON Media with support from the National Youth Council and British Council is organizing a one-day national youth dialogue forum as a platform for youth groups across the country to dialogue with stakeholders on youth engagement in developing effective national plans and strategies to uproot internet-based fraud through a youth-led advocacy efforts.
Date: 18th June, 2009
Time: 10: am – 12:00pm
Venue: GNAT, Bediako Hall
The outcome of a GYAN Ghana led research and media publications have cited out-of-school youth and in-school youth mostly from the Senior High and Junior High Schools as the majority of active perpetrators and vulnerable group in this menace. It is against this backdrop that GYAN Ghana extends this invitation to members of the network to participate in this very important forum.
Participants are expected to deliberate and share experiences to inform a Youth Declaration against Internet fraud which shall be used to advocate for a national legislation on internet based fraud.
