Nom: Future of Africa
Description :
There have been many assertions made worldwide about the the state of affairs in our motherland. Despite all the pessimistic views of our continent i strongly believe change is possible.
I strongly believe one day Africa would not be noted for the continent with the most orphan population in the world.
I strongly believe one day our leaders will consider the interests of everyone in our countries and serve the countries selflessly.
I strongly believe one day there will be no disparity between the few rich and the many poor in our continent.
I strongly believe one day we will let the spirit of forgiveness reign so we can forget the atrocities of the past and concentrate on how to build our continent and make a move towards development.
I see a continent with no one dieing of malnutrition and starvation.
I see continent where we will consider ourselves as one as we used to be before colonization.
I see a continent getting rid of the woes of ethnic conflicts or tribalism.
I see a continent with women playing roles in decision making and development.
A continent which will not be popular for the highest rate of HIV/AIDS patients.
I believe one day our continent will not be associated with the lowest living standards in the world.
I believe one day we can make our own decisions and be free from the oppression of the west.
I strongly believe everyone has rights and these rights should be made a reality and every sought of abuse should be put to an end.
I see a continent with rich traditional values, languages, beautiful surroundings, desperate and determined individuals.
I see a continent with everyone getting the best education to eradicate the high level of ignorance associated with it.
I see AFRICA marking a turnaround in the problems of the world.
If Africa is known to be a continent where the first human specie was discovered why then are we still lacking behind in this world? If everyone in this current world originated from Africa why can't we make all the progress others are making? are we not the same human beings they are? If we have great minds such as Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, Marthin Luther King, Malcolm X, Kofi Annan, Ken Saro Wiwe, Barack Obama, Shawn Corey Carter, Wangari Maathai. Beyonce Giselle Knowles, Marcus Mosiah Garvey Jr., Lucky Dube who all in one way or the other originated from Africa why then can we be associated with underdevelopment. We have all the natural resources to make the situations right. It is worthy of note that if we don't do it ourselves no one will do it for us. no developed nation will give us that development. we are the only people who understand our plight and we shall be the only people who can solve them. Our fight in our continent should not be one of discrimination, hatred or malice against anybody, race or group our fight should be against the systems that is responsible for our predicament.
I see a continent with a bright future and i strongly believe only with love and unity we can achieve the dreams we have.
If you are out there and you share the same views with me, please join and lets make this dream a reality. "Divided we are weak; united, Africa could become the greatest force for good in the world."
