Description:
Foundation for American Literary Development (FFALD) is a non-profit youth led organization founded by Donald Thompson on the 11th April 2006 to promote Educational and Cultural linkages between America and Sierra Leone; solve the problems of literary texts and activities in schools and colleges by providing training, research centres and distribution of books; and thereby providing student exchange, youth exchange programs and humanitarian aid to extreme poor students, youths and families in Sierra Leone.

FFALD keeps its financial focus on exchange programs with only 4% of its total expenses going to administrative cost.
