Hello Earth Charter youth!
Please forward the following call for donations to your networks, including
whatever preface you deem appropriate. If you're able, I encourage you to
make a contribution to the Fellows Scholarship Fund yourself.
As young sustainability leaders, also have a look at our Fellows program and
consider applying yourself later this year! I believe the application
process opens in October or November.

Dear ...,
In an effort to raise money for our Donella Meadows Fellows Scholarship
Fund, I am going to run a half marathon on September 12 in Plymouth,
Massachusetts. Our Fellows are *sustainability leaders from all around the
world* working across diverse sectors for positive systems change. I urge

As the Fellows Network Coordinator at the Sustainability Institute since
February 2009, I have the privilege of interacting with the Donella
Meadows Fellows daily and feel deeply inspired by their efforts to *"accelerate
the transition to global sustainability,"* the mission of the Sustainability
Institute.
For those donating to the Fellows Scholarship Fund for the first time, know
that this is also the first time that I am running an official race! Before
starting my training, I had never run more than 7 miles in one stretch. *Your
contribution to our Fellows Scholarship Fund will help to:*
- ensure the participation of Fellows - especially women - from
developing countries and small NGOs in our ongoing leadership program and
annual alumni workshops
- support ongoing communication among Fellows
- support collaboration on joint projects that address climate change and
other sustainability challenges
