	please circulate widely apologies for cross-postings Tired of waiting for things to change? Looking to get involved in something big? Not really sure what youth activism is all about? Join the Youth Action Network Board of Directors! Youth Action Network (YAN) is a national organization run BY youth FOR youth. YAN is dedicated to empowering young people to take action on the social and environmental justice issues that concern us. Some of YAN's projects include: Youth Action Forum magazine, the Resource Action Centre, Ruckus! Anti-racism and Youth Activism Conference, and Youth Week. Our goal is to empower ourselves to move from AWARENESS to ACTION. Anyone age 26 and under can join the board -- absolutely no experience is necessary! You don't already have to be an activist! Equity-seeking youth, Aboriginal youth, youth of colour, young womyn, LBGTQ youth, youth with little or no incomes, youth living with (dis)abilities, and high school-aged youth are especially encouraged to apply.
