Sujet: The Future of Toung People, Children In South Africa

Hello All,


Last night I was watch CNN on an insight programme on HIV/AIDS in South Africa, I became worried with the information that was aired about the way the Government is focusing on the issue on HIV/AIDS in that country that has been killing people in that country, there was a total ignorance from the leadership about the pandemic spread in the country.
Instead the health minister has been campaigning on the need for alternative medicine from vegetables like garlic’s, cabbages, etc which has not been helping in the treatment of HIV/AIDS victims in that country.
The government see is as an act of stereotyping the people from the use of ARV’s in the treatment of the people , presently about 5.5 million people in south Africa is infected which tells that more children are Vulnerable and young people between 10-25years .
If not taken care o the Economic power o the country will be affected by 2009, the question is what is happening to the government? Where are the funds going to? What will be the faith of young people and children who are infected?

What will happen to the next generation of young people who will be infected with HIV/AIDS? And also treatable illness like Malaria, TB Should be Given more attention too to stop the killing of millions of children in Africa. What are the interventions for young people in South Africa and Africa?
