Description:

The Dawson Community Center possesses many rooms for varied activities: a games room, an arts room, a gym, two kitchens, a multi-purpose room and other rooms for meetings. They have also a tech-room: it contains ten high-tech computers that I will use while doing my workshops on 5 different subjects:
1- Climate Change
2- Change That Clicks
3- MDGs (Millenium Development Goals)
4- HIV / AIDS
5- Children's Rights

La mission du Centre communautaire Dawson est de contribuer à l'amélioration de la qualité de vie des familles et des membres de la communauté en offrant plusieurs activités de loisirs aux enfants du primaire jusqu'au secondaire et il y a aussi des groupes pour les enfants de plus de 17 ans.

Les activités sont variées; jeux sur ordinateur, sports notamment le soccer, le basketball et le hockey,...
