  hi Kartikeya!
nice to hear from you...
so far we havent prepared any representative to go to the COP14 but we're
trying to make a gathering (or at least an online gathering) in october to
gather inputs from across university in Indonesia so we can come up with a
message on behalf of indonesian youth that will be delivered at the COP14,

you're definitely have to share your success story of establishing the
network to the rest of us,i'm sure that will be inspiring...

cheers,

Hi Everyone!

It's been such a long time! I'm sorry that we didn't mobilize further and
stay in touch better, but I hope everyone had been busy building networks
within their respective countries. I have been very busy staring and
expanding the Indian Youth Climate Network (which didn't exist before the
Bali conference). I'm happy to say that with a humble beginning of 3
people in March, it now has a reach of over 200,000 across India in 15
different states! We are rapidly expanding. Check it out:
http://iycn.in

we've held two summits debating policy issues in India on climate change
(one specifically for the capital, Delhi, and the other a national level
summit). We're also trying to send a delegation of Indian youth to COP 14.
Which brings me to the next question: how many of you are going? And
what are your plans as far as policy proposals or anything at all? Are we
going to be doing anything together as an Asian block?

There have been whispers of an "Asian Youth Climate Network" but I think
that is happening outside this forum. Perhaps we can pick up where we left
off and see where we are and what we want to do as Asians in the time
leading up to Poznan and beyond.

Looking forward to hearing from each and everyone of you!

Best,

Kartikeya
