Mexico Youth Force Video, AIDS 2008

Dear friends and colleagues
A year ago Mexico City was the host of the largest event related to HIV in the world, the XVII International AIDS Conference. The Youth Program was one of the most important components of the Conference and was developed thanks to the alliance between the International AIDS Society (IAS) and the Mexico Youth Force (MYF).

I take this opportunity to thank the organizations that made the MYF possible: the Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS (GYCA), Advocates for Youth, TakingItGlobal, Coalición de Jóvenes por la Salud Sexual (COJESS), Youth Coalition, Hope's Voice, the World AIDS Campaign, Youth R.I.S.E. and of course the International AIDS Society. I also want to thank the YouthForce supporters: UNFPA, PLAN International, UNICEF, UNESCO and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Hace un año la Ciudad de México fue la anfitriona del evento más grande del mundo en VIH, la XVII Conferencia Internacional sobre el SIDA. El programa de jóvenes fue uno de los componentes más importantes de la Conferencia y se hizo gracias a la alianza de la Sociedad Internacional de SIDA (IAS) y la Fuerza Joven de Mexico (MYF).
