Si no has recibido tu gafete, debes recogerlo en el area de registro que se encuentra en el area del hipodromo junto al Centro Banamex.
La ceremonia de inauguracion se llevara a cabo en el Auditorio Nacional en el area de Chapultepec (a 45 minutos del Centro Banamex). Si no tienes tu gafete NO podras entrar a la ceremonia de inauguracion.
Tambien debes traer tu pasaporte y en caso de ser mexican (at) , tu credencial de elector. Por favor NO traigas bolsas!

Dear AIDS 2008 Participant,
With only a few days before AIDS 2008, we would like to give you some practical information including registration, name badges, transportation and the opening session.
ARRIVING AT THE VENUE: IF YOU HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED YOUR BADGE
If you have not received your name badge you should pick it up at the registration area located in the hippodrome infield, next to Centro Banamex.
The opening session will take place in Auditorio Nacional in the Chapultepec area (45 minutes drive from Centro Banamex). If you do not have your name badge you will NOT be allowed to enter (see below: Opening Session - Bring Passport, Not Bags!).
ARRIVING AT THE VENUE: IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR BADGE
If you have already received your name badge by post you can go directly to the delegate bag pick-up desk in the registration area, located in the hippodrome infield, next to Centro Banamex.
You can also go directly to the opening session that will take place in Auditorio Nacional in the Chapultepec area (see below: Opening Session - Bring Passport, Not Bags!).
ARRIVING AT THE VENUE: IF YOU ARE REGISTERED AS PART OF A GROUP
If you are registered as part of a group by a company or other organization, check with your group coordinator regarding when and where you will receive your name badge and delegate bag.
REGISTRATION AREA OPENING HOURS
Saturday 2 August: 13:00 - 20:00
Sunday 3 August: 08:00 - 19:30
Monday 4 August - Thursday 7 August: 06:30 - 18:30
Friday 8 August: 08:00 - 15:00
TRANSPORTATION TO CENTRO BANAMEX
From 2 August to 8 August free shuttle buses will run between designated pick-up points (close to official hotels and some metro stations) and Centro Banamex.
We strongly urge delegates to plan transportation well in advance as there is constant traffic congestion in Mexico City.

OPENING SESSION - BRING PASSPORT, NOT BAGS!
The opening session starts at 19:00 on Sunday 3 August and will take place at Auditorio Nacional in the Chapultepec area.
As an alternative, you can watch the opening session live in Centro Banamex or the Global Village.
Free shuttle buses will leave from Centro Banamex starting from 17:45. Buses will not be provided from the hotels to Auditorio Nacional.
The doors will open at 17:30 and "first come, first seated" applies. As seating is limited and the security control will be time consuming you need to arrive early to be guaranteed a seat. Before the session there will be entertainment, starting at 18:00.
You will need to show your name badge and your passport to enter Auditorio Nacional. Mexican citizens should bring either their "Credencial de Elector" or their passport.
If you have not received your name badge you must first collect it at the registration area in Centro Banamex or collect it from your group coordinator. This can NOT be done at Auditorio Nacional.
Security will be very strict and no bags will be allowed inside Auditorio Nacional. If you bring a bag (including the delegate bag) it will be searched and scanned then deposited in the lobby until you leave.
The following items will not be allowed:
- Dangerous and potentially dangerous objects
- Balloons, streamers and confetti
- Cans, tubes and bottles
- Food and drinks
- Glass, metal and wax objects
- Two-way radios (mobile phones and small cameras are allowed)
- Signs, boards and banners
Food and beverages will be available for purchase (Mexican pesos and credit cards accepted).
