Take Action Against Poverty event in Yaounde, Cameroon Dear All, Happy to inform you about the participation of Life and Water Development Group - Cameroon partnering with the UN at their annual event Stand Up. Take Action Against Poverty from the 16th - 18th October 2009 here in Yaounde. The event was a successful event that ended up today Sunday October 18th with more than 500 participants. The participants were general public together with politicitians, foreign diplomats, youths etc... The event started at 8:00 a.m. at the 20th May Boulevard in Yaounde and took us around the Yaounde town where we returned to the starting venue to close up the event, we had musical event and some refreshments. There were also members of different private media covering the event, together with the African Films, a cinematographic department body to Life and Water Development Group - Cameroon that covered the event both photography and videography. Our youtube video is not being edited and we will come back to you with it when it's uploaded.
