El 9, 10 y 11 de julio de 2007, el gobierno belga será el anfitrión de la
primera reunión del ‘Foro Mundial sobre Migración y Desarrollo’. La
Fundación Rey Balduino aceptó la invitación de organizar el primer día del
Foro Mundial, que será dedicado a la sociedad civil. El ‘Foro de la Sociedad
Civil sobre Migración y Desarrollo’ del 9 de julio pretende reunir a una
amplia diversidad de actores no gubernamentales para discutir sobre el
vínculo entre migración y desarrollo, y para darles ocasión de brindar su
aportación a las discusiones entre los gobiernos el 10 y 11 de julio . 
 
A partir de ahora, el sitio web de este evento está disponible
en  www.gfmd-civil-society.org. Se puede descargar el formulario de
candidatura que debe ser completado para participar. Este formulario figura
también en anexo, y debe enviarse a más tardar el 10 de abril 2007. 
 
Le rogamos envíar este mensaje a todas las personas/organizaciones
susceptibles de presentar un interés.

On 9, 10 and 11 July 2007 the Belgian government will host the first meeting
of the ‘Global Forum on Migration and Development’. The King Baudouin
Foundation has accepted the invitation to organise the first day of the
Global Forum, which will be devoted to civil society. The ‘Civil Society
Forum on Migration and Development’ on 9 July will gather a broad range of
non-governmental actors to discuss the migration and development nexus and
give input to the governmental discussions on the 10th and 11th of July .  
 
A website dedicated to this event is online as of today at
www.gfmd-civil-society.org. The application form to attend the Civil Society
Forum on Migration and Development can be downloaded from the website. You
can also find it attached to this e-mail, and it needs to be returned on 10
April 2007 at the latest.

Les 9, 10 et 11 juillet 2007, le gouvernement belge accueillera la première
réunion du "Forum mondial sur la migration et le développement".
La Fondation Roi Baudouin a accepté d'organiser la première journée du Forum
mondial qui sera consacrée à la société civile. Durant le ‘Forum de la
société civile sur la migration et le développement’ du 9 juillet, un grand
nombre d’acteurs non gouvernementaux débattront ensemble de questions en
lien avec la migration et le développement et ils
apporteront leur contribution aux discussions gouvernementales du 10 et 11
juillet . 
Le site internet consacré à l'événement est dès à présent accessible à
l'adresse suivante  www.gfmd-civil-society.org. Vous y trouverez le
formulaire de canditature à compléter pour participer au Forum du 9 juillet.
Ce formulaire figure également en annexe, et doit être renvoyé le 10
avril 2007 au plus tard.
