Toronto Youth Cabinet (TYC) Invites you 2 tell the City How to Spend $ to
Make Change!
Do You live in a priority neighbourhood? (e.g Jamestown, Jane/Finch,
Lawrence Heights, Malvern, Regent Park, Crescent Town?)
Do you have experience with art/music project or youth safety or activism?
Do you have an interest in making real change in your community?
The City of Toronto is looking for youth to address the needs of other young
people in the city. There is a fund titled Identify N' Impact that holds
$150, 000. This money needs to be distributed to youth-led and youth
directed projects/organizations. If you know of any youth that would be
interested in sitting on the grants panel for this fund please respond to
the e-mail in the attachment.
We are looking for various youth with different backgrounds. These
backgrounds include arts, community development, and violence-prevention
among others. We are also looking for youth from Toronto's 13 Priority
Neighborhoods.
Come out to a FREE Dinner Meeting. Thursday August 31st, 2006 - 6:00 p.m. at
City Hall (14th Floor, East Tower)
