	Our ABC Cafe series resumes today at ABC from 5:30-7:30 with special artist -- Miss. Courtney Romine-Mann (aka the Diva of Vegan Soul), will be enlightening us on her service = learning class project through Ithaca College's "Sustainable Communities" course -- called Just(ice) and Sustainability. This newly formed grassroots organization mobilizes Northside and Southside leaders and residents for social justice and environmental freedom ! ! HOW? .. you gotta come and find out from her presentation -- - What the project is about... - Why all the excitement? Who cares anyway? - How it will impact our communities - 1-2 ways the program can be improved - Challenges it's facing NOW and may face in the FUTURE Two questions exploring the project will be posed to the group. Then through the Constructive Feedback Process, we will all learn how to give critical responses to Miss Love's "performance piece", also known as a "presentation". Why is giving constructive feedback important?? -Practice speaking in front of groups -Fine tune our method of reponse to someone's professional work -Learn to give constructive appreciation and criticism -Provides us with insight on how to be a more effective presenter -- Farah D.
