	International Youth Day was this past Saturday, August 12th. For those of you that don't know, the day focuses on practical action to further encourage the empowerment and participation of youth in the processes and decisions that affect their lives. This year's theme was "Tackling Poverty Together." You can check out these links on International Youth Day and how it was recognized this year in some places like Namibia, Pakistan, the UK, and the US. I purposefully chose to focus on more positive and uplifting news.
