is there you might like to get involved in / let me know other ideas
you have.

Email me, send me a message on face book and let me know what other
things you are keen to get involved in. If you just have general
ideas and would like to get together with some others and brainstorm
I
can arrange that too.

MENTORS
Myself and others who helped out at the workshops have lots of
contacts so if you want to speak with someone / find a mentor to help
with a project that you have let me know and I'll help you find an
appropriate person.

VOLUNTEERING
Some of you mentioned you would like to volunteer for otherWISE - her
are some of my ideas

*Assist with advertising of events: everything from flier / poster
creation to getting fliers / posters up in suitable locations around
Canberra; *Next year otherWISE will be creating a book on the
sustainable things that young people are doing in ACT - we will need
helpers in all sorts of areas for this. *World Environment day event
next year - there are likely to be some ways you can help out. *Admin
- there are often various admin type tasks to be done. *Making a
Green
Calender (online!).....or getting our stuff on an existing one and
providing links to it (if you know of a really good one let me know) -

as part of this I envisage being in touch with all sorts of local
community and environment groups and getting there events up - so the
young people in our network have access to all the 'green' things
going on in Canberra *Let me know what you are into and I'll find
something for you to do - or come up with your own ideas and run them
past me.

Remember there will be funding opportunities for your projects - get
onto the Foundation for Young Australians website to receive alerts
(I have done so so) - but most importantly speak to me. others about
your ideas and lets make them happen!!

As you know I'll be heading on holiday as of tomorrow afternoon so
I'm
not being rude if I don't get back to you until the 3rd of January!

Wishing everyone a fantastic festive season.
