	Hello Everyone I just wanted to send a short update and introduce myself to everyone on the United Nations Development Programme Youth Climate Change Project Task Force team. My name is Adam MacIsaac and I am currently coordinating the media section of the UNDP Youth Climate Change Project with Peace Child International. I grew up in the small province of Prince Edward Island, Canada and have worked on various environmental and youth projects since graduating from high school in 2000. I have an interest in Climate Change for various reasons but the main reason being since I grew up on a small island that could disappear if this issue is not addressed. Some amazing experiences I have to mention from my personal experience of working on these issues would be working with a fair trade coffee collective in the Dominican Republic, attending the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate change in Bali Indonesia December 2007 and most recently receiving training from Al Gore on his presentation he gives in the Academy Award winning documentary "An Inconvenient Truth". All of these experiences has made my determination on addressing this issue even stronger. Intersted in Submitting Videos?? We are currently wrapping up the final details on launching the contest platform for the video submissions for the video portion of the youth climate change project. The contest will be hosted at Quantumshift.tvand I will send everyone the address of the contest once it is up and running. So far there has been interest expressed from many youth on submitting videos and many are currently creating them to submit. Here is a reminder of the deadlines and of course the best part the grand prize for the best submitted video. Deadline for Video Script Submissions: Friday May 30th 2008 * Deadline for Video Submissions: Monday June 30th 2008 Grand Prize Winner: The maker of the best video will win an all-expenses-paid trip to attend the 4th World Youth Congress in Quebec City, Canada from August 10-21, 2008. About The World Youth Congress* Each World Youth Congress brings together 600 of the world's most dynamic young activists from 120 different countries to discuss how young people may be employed more effectively by the UN and their governments in the effort to make poverty history in a sustainable way. It offers a unique opportunity to meet and work alongside young leaders who recognize their generational challenge to eliminate poverty while at the same time preserving the environment and avoiding dangerous climate change.
