Description:
The International Youth Council was founded by delegates who attended the 4th annual youth congress at the UN. We decided to found this council as a means of bringing together individuals who are truely committed to changing the world. Our first project is called "International Peace Ambassadors", anyone wanting to become a peace ambassador has to be involved in a project (your own initiative or someone else's) that is dedicated towards fulfilling the Millenium Development Goals (http://www.un.org/millenniumgoals/). Everyone who wants to become a member has to present their project and themselves. We seek to to link the entire world, NGOs, youth activists, governments etc. So please if you are passionate and want to do something even if you do not have a concrete project but maybe just an idea do not hesistate to apply.
