  Dear Colleagues,

I want to agree with my good friend Sraj that the question of a youth voice is so critical in the times we are living. It must be noted that the greatest enemy of youth is the youth himself and unless we can realize that we need to start creating the future today and indeed prepare a great world for the next generation, we would have missed the opportunity of a generation.

I have always felt that a Youth Council is critical but do not understand why it has taken us this long to have a vibrant one. It is now time that we moved from the talkshops to begin acting on something feasible.

As an African Youth, I remain ready as always to support such a grand idea.
