Sujet: UN HABITAT YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL

  Dear friends,

UN-HABITAT is proposing the creation of a Youth Advisory Council with the
main objective of providing advisory services UN-HABITAT's sustainable
urbanization work, with a focus on youth concerns. It is envisioned that
such a body would advise UN-HABITAT and other interested bodies working in
the sustainable urbanization field. The make up of the body would consist of
youth representatives from the different regions.

This is only a proposal from UN-HABITAT, we are keen to engage youth and
organizations working with young people on the modality and the way forward.
