  Dear All,
> The Bill and Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health, Johns Hopkins School of Public Health in collaboration with her Nigerian partner Institutions the Obafemi Awolowo University,
> Ile-Ife and the University of Ibadan, Ibadan is spearheading the organization of an international research and best practices conference on adolescent sexual and reproductive health from 27 to 29
> April 2008.
> UNFPA is planning to support young artist to showcase their works at the conference.
> The followings are the criteria for participation:
> . Male and females aged from 10 to 24 years
> . Contestants are not professional artists
> . Artists are welcome to use a variety of media, including crayons, markers, paint, pen and ink, coloured pencil, chalk, collage, black and white/coloured original photography, wood etc.
> . Submit entries on paper or cardboard not larger than 60 x 45 cm (18? x 24?) nor smaller than 28 x 23 cm (8½? x 11?)
> . DEADLINE for submission of entries is Thursday 13 Mach 2008
> . Entries to be carefully packaged to ensure its use for return mail.
> On the back of each work, include:
> . The artist's name and age
> . Name of institution and class(or occupation/trade, if not in school)
> . Address
> Art work to target/express
> The artistic expression should focus the artists' understanding of one or a combination of the followings
> . Relationships between population and individual welfare
> . Young people's views of Adolescent Sexual Rights
> . Issues on transitions to productive adulthood
> . Successful living and productive work
> . Issues on male-female power relations
> . Young people's views of HIV/AIDS epidemics
