The SYP e-forum is meant to serve as a crossroads for current and former UNFPA fellows and to promote a long-term connection to the Special Youth Programme and UNFPA. This forum intends to strengthen knowledge-sharing and cross-fertilisation activities among SYP Fellows and alumni. The underlying idea is that an online forum reinforces the learning aspects of the SYP and optimises the use of existing resources in the form of linking current and former generations of fellows. The forum can provide new fellows with an opportunity to draw on the experience and know-how of SYP alumni, at the same time it will provide the alumni with an interesting and enriching opportunity to share knowledge and touch base with those involved in the programme.
