SSJ’s purpose is to enlighten future leaders to be aware of issues relating to social justice and to be active in preventing social justice transgression. The group hopes to develop and enlighten members of the Embry- Riddle global community to become proactive leaders based on the established core values and goals of the organizations.

Mission Statement:
It is the mission of Students for Social Justice at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to enlighten future leaders to be aware of issues relating to social justice and to be active in preventing social justice transgression. The group hopes to develop and enlighten citizens of the Embry-Riddle global community to become proactive leaders based on the established core values and goals of the organization.

Some of the Activities Planned for this Semester:

Push the vote campaign
World Aids Day December 1st
Speaker on youth culture and voting in September
Speaker on hate crimes in November
Monthly or biweekly discussions on hot issues; from university issues to international crisis
