Dear GYCA Community,
We are pleased to announce that applications are currently open for the
second round of the GYCA Small Grants Program! Thanks to the generous
support of American Jewish World Service (http://www. ajws.org/ ), the GYCA
Small Grants Program will continue to help outstanding young leaders working
on HIV to successfully implement projects in their communities.
In the second round of our Small Grants program, we will be giving out five
small grants of $1500 each. In order to be considered for a grant,
applicants must have successfully completed at least one of GYCA's online
courses. Grant recipients will be required to monitor their projects'
progress on an online blog for the GYCA community and through a mid-grant
project report and final grant report.
To apply, please fill out the Small Grants Application Form (attached) and
submit it to grants (at) youthaidscoa lition.org. Please also e-mail any questions
about the program to grants (at) youthaidscoa lition.org. *The application
deadline is September 14th.
*
GYCA will give priority to applicants who reside in a developing country
where funding is not easily accessible; are living with HIV/AIDS and/or
belong to a marginalized group; are connected with a local, well-established
NGO; and are committed to sharing their skills with their peers. *GYCA, as a
youth-serving network, will only make grants to applicants under 30 years of
age.*
More information about grant eligibility and a downloadable copy of the
application are also available on the GYCA website, at
http://www.youthaid scoalition. org/pages. html?page= smallgrants
Also, check out what the first round of Small Grants winners are doing, at

We look forward to receiving your applications!
