FRIENDS OF THE GLOBAL FUND AFRICA WANTS TO HEAR FROM YOU
WHAT DOES THE GLOBAL FUND MEAN TO AFRICANS?
We want to know how the Global Fund has touched people and saved lives in Africa . We are looking for stories on the impact of interventions such as the provision of bed nets, voluntary counseling/testing and treatment received for HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria through Global Fund projects.
We want to hear personal accounts and stories from anyone who has benefited from the Global Fund in Africa . We also welcome any pictures you want to add to your story which can be sent by email.
Personal accounts can be tailored to answer the following questions:
How has the Global Fund impacted your life?
What does the Global Fund represent to you?
What challenges did you experience before the presence of the Global Fund in your country?
How has the Global Fund helped your country?
Has the Global Fund helped anyone else that you know?
This is your chance to tell the World what the Global Fund has done for you and spread hope across Africa .
If you know any beneficiaries of Global Fund projects kindly spread the word or better yet, you can tell their story for them.
Kindly email your story to info (at) friends-africa.org as an attachment including the following details:

Occupation
Also attach 3 or 4 clear colored pictures of you that can be used with the story.
The deadline for receiving all material is 10 August, 2007.
Upon informed consent Friends Africa will present collected material in a publication on what the Global Fund means to Africans that will be accessible on the Friends Africa website
