Subject: New York Fall 2009 Training Calendar: Focus On Criminal Justice --
NOW ONLINE

For all of you East Coasters interested in attending trainings in harm
reduction, check out our fall calendar--

Dear Harm Reduction Coalition Supporters,

Summer is on its way out, as the New York office of The Institute at Harm
Reduction Coalition prepares for the Fall 2009 Training Calendar with a
special focus on Criminal Justice. In this e-mail, you will hear about the
fall training calendar and two important announcements regarding the future
operations of The Institute.

Important Announcement: Electronic Only Calendar Beginning Winter 2010

Beginning this Winter, all training calendars produced by The Institute will
be electronic only. Print calendars will no longer be mailed to individuals
or agencies, except in the cases of special needs. Please let your
colleagues and friends know of these changes and direct them to sign up for
our e-blasts by visiting our webpage (www.harmreduction.org) and entering
the e-mail address at the top right-hand corner or by clicking here and
signing up:

Important Announcement: Revised Training Policies

The Institute has revised our training policies. Please inform your agencies
of these changes. It is our hope that these revisions will maximize our
resources and serve you better. Please review:

TRAINING POLICIES

In order to be good ambassadors of your agencies and to remain in good
standing with our organization, please abide by our policies:

ATTENDANCE & CANCELLATION

• Participants must give notice of cancellation at least three full
business days prior to the training date. Exceptions are given for
emergencies.

• Participants must arrive no later than 15 minutes after a training
begins and stay for the entire session to be considered present and receive
a certificate of attendance.

• In order to allow as many providers from various agencies to
participate in our FREE trainings, we limit registrations per agency to a
maximum of three participants per training.

PAYMENT & CREDIT

• For PAID trainings, payment must be received three business days in
advance of the FIRST registered training. Otherwise, registration is not
guaranteed.

• The Institute reserves the right to cancel any training and to
substitute the trainer/presenter. Should we have to cancel, registrants will
receive a credit for a future training.

• Participants must cancel three full business days in advance to
receive a credit for a future training and must use those credits by the end
of the following calendar cycle. Individual participants receive credits
unless otherwise notified. No refunds will be given under any circumstances.
