Sujet: END OF TERM E-MAIL: ELECTION RESULTS!
Envoyé: Mar 16th, 2007 - 07:40:24

PEOPLE AND PLANET END OF TERM E-MAIL

Thank you to everyone who came to our election last night or to our social
afterwards. It was great to see so many people there who weren’t standing
for a position!

I am sure everyone will agree that we have had a phenomenal term! Our Go
Green Weeks and Fairtrade Festivals have been truly awesome, and our
efforts were rewarded by winning the prestigious “Best Society Award”. We
couldn’t have done it without the help of each and every one of you!

A story about our winning of the award is on the People and Planet website:
http://peopleandplanet.org/navid3730

Anyway, congratulations to our new exec, who are as follows:

Fairtrade: James Hall and Kai Skinner
Go Green National: Kate Shayler and Emma Biermann
Go Green Local: Alex Fowles and Hannah Smith
Treat AIDS Now: Bunny Doggart and Emma Davis
Control Arms: Mark Carrigan

Secretary: Andrew Rosser
Treasurer and Resources Manager: Peter Vernon
Marketing and Website: Ben Darlington
Sponsorship and Fundraising: Catherine Boycott and Lucy Cady
Social Sec: Prin Boondiskulchok

The next term or so will be a handover period, with the old exec gradually
handing over their “power,” for want of a better word to the new. If you
have any queries about their campaign or something to do with their role,
then please get in touch!

I shall get back to you with our plans for next term soon.

Best wishes,
Andrew
