Please all come tomorrow folks! Is very important... and don't forget the
social afterwards: Details below!

3) ELECTIONS: THURSDAY: 6PM MR2


Thursday will see our elections and Annual General Meeting. As we need 20%
quoracy then can everyone please try and come, even if they are not
standing for a position. Please let me know if you want to stand for a
position: they are as follows:


MORE DETAILS ABOUT EACH OF THESE POSITIONS AT THE END OF THE E-MAIL


1) Secretary

2) Treasurer and Resources Manager

3) Social Secretary

4) Fundraising – potentially combined Sponsorship

5) Sponsorship – potentially combined Fundraising

6) Marketing – potentially combined website

7) Website – potentially combined Marketing

8) Fairtrade / Trade Justice Campaigns Co-ordinator

9) Fairtrade / Trade Justice Campaigns Co-ordinator

10) Go Green Co-ordinator – focusing specifically on national campaigning

11) Go Green co-ordinator – focusing specifically on local campaigning and

the logistics of the week

12) Treat AIDS Now Co-ordinator

13) Treat AIDS Now Co-ordinator

14) Control Arms Co-ordinator


If you are going to stand for any of these, you will need to give a brief
speech about why you want the position and what qualities you think
you’d bring etc.


4) SOCIAL: THURSDAY AFTER ELECTIONS


Hola fellow members of the BEST SOCIETY!


So I hope you've all got the PP elections firmly written in your diaries
for Thursday next week? To make it THAT BIT MORE exciting, there'll be
super-amazing-celebratory social afterwards, details as follows:


6pm ........Elections Union North


Bus at 7:40 to arrive in Leamington at...


8pm ........Dinner (at) The Thai Twig!


A Thai restaurant in Leamington that does a great veggie selection, main
courses for 5/6/7. For directions see here


10.30pm...... La Supercool Discotheque (at) the place formerly known as Sugar


So I haven't been to this yet, but loads of you have and say it's grrreat so

I figure it's the perfect place for PPers to go dancing together. Aww!

If you live on campus or elsewhere and like me, you'd rather not sleep in
