Hi all!
This email has been going around for a couple of years now! It is a hoax. I
wonder whether it is good if people forward it, because they show they are
concerned about the rainforests or it is bad because they can then sit back
and relax (I have already done something, now I can take a rest) even though
it was just a lie.
In any case I always use the opportunity to remind people where they can
really make a difference! So here comes my suggestion for you guys.
Go to: http://www.greenpeace.org/campaigns/intro?campaign%5fid=3938 and have
a look at Greenpeace's work for forests. On the bottom there is a link to
become a "cyberactivist". You will take part in urgent actions when some
decision maker needs to get many emails that ask him to protect the forests.
