Currently people"s welfare $ development[PWD] IS involved in the following community based activities: 1.HIV/AIDS prevention ,sensilisation and mobolisation. 2.Human Rights advocacy amongst young people,especialy the unemployed youths. 3.Home based programmes. 4 Support to refugees and assylum seekers and displaced persons. 5.Rehabilitation and support of the victims of torture. 6.Support to people with disabilities and the homeless. 7.support to children who are orphaned as a result of HIV/AIDS. 8.Organizing local and international exchange programmes and youth work camps. 9.Involved in gender mainstreaming in all our activities. 10.Organizing scholarships for the needy and disadvantage children within the community. 11Organizing income generating activities for the purposes of sustainability.
