Sujet: ACTION: REPORT OF VISION 2020 FOR YOUTH

  Dear, Colleague,
Are you a youth, do you have the interest of youth in heart , do you think Nigeria will achieve Vision 20:2020? Please fill free to be part of Special Interest Group (YOUTH) of Nigerian Vision 2020. Be part of the history.
Please make your own contribution on the Report of vision 20:2020 Special Interest Group for Youth  by contributing to this questions.
1.       Please give a detail definition of youth , describe the relevance of youth to the Nigerian State, give a history of the youth in Nigeria and trends (E.G growth).
 
2.       TRENDS WITHIN YOUTH OF NIGERIA: what are the developmental issues and happenings within the Nigerian youths, what are the key growth driver among youths of Nigeria, the resource availability and development trends   within youth over the last 10 years, cite the growth, expansion or decline in the key aspect of youth in Nigeria.
 
3.       ISSUES AND CHALLENGES: please give details of the specific issues and developmental challenges that Nigerian youth are having. It will be helpful to categorize the issues and challenges under broad heading to avoid having a laundry list of items. (E.g, Issues and challenges of youth on health, Education, Employment, ETC) Consolidate all the issues and challenges and prioritize in the order of importance to the Nigerian Youth.
 
4.       Opportunities for the Nigerian youth: please give details of opportunities for the development within the Nigerian Youth.
 
5.       Recommendations for the Nigerian youth: base on lesson learnt, issues/challenges and opportunities identified within Nigerian Youth, make recommendations that will allow for the Nigerian Youth’s contribution towards the attainment of Nigerian’s Vision 2020. Please highlight initiatives for achieving these recommendations.
 
6.       Please tell us what is expected to change after the implementation of each recommendation. This should narrate the overall effect of the success implementation of the various initiatives and programmes.
 
7.       Please if you are making any reference from any document, please state key materials leverage in the course of making your contribution.
