Action: Staying Alive Grant Opportunity for Youth
Staying Alive Foundation
****************
Dear AF-AIDS eForum members,
I'm happy to you know that the Staying Alive Foundation has just opened its first 2009 call for proposals for grants that will be given out on 1st of June. The DEADLINE TO APPLY is 6th April 2009. As with the last round, applications are accepted in English, French and Spanish.
Staying Alive Foundation looks for projects that are led entirely by young people and always prefers to support organizations that have only been set up recently and have not received much financial support previously. On top of that we look at how well the project would be able to achieve the following aims:
- To educate young people about HIV and AIDS prevention and how it can be sustained.
- Potential to be a true youth leader in order to establish a community response and commitment.
- To alleviate the stigma and discrimination associated with HIV and AIDS.
Below you will find the information and application form you need to apply. The deadline is 6 April 2009.
