Subject: [GBV-HIV-AIDS] Call for Input - Women and AIDS Guide 2008
Dear colleagues:
ATHENA, the Global Coalition on Women and AIDS, OSI, and UNIFEM are partnering to produce this years Women and AIDS Guide to the XVII International AIDS Conference in Mexico City.
We will be mapping out all women and AIDS related sessions and activities for the conference. We also plan to include a resource list in this guide and would welcome your input about what websites and resources to feature. Lastly, we will incorporate key quotes and messages on women and HIV.
Lauren Suchman will lead the effort to compile all of this material. We invite you to send notice of your sessions, scheduled activities, resources, and quotes/key messages by email to Lauren, lksuchman (at) gmail.com, by Friday, 30 May 2008 for inclusion in the 2008 Women and AIDS guide. Please also copy your inputs to athenainitiative (at) gmail.com.
Due to space constraints, we may not be able to include all references or quotes received however the material will be compiled and will be archived for future advocacy activities.
Again, please share:
- Sessions at AIDS 2008
- Resources and websites related to women and HIV
- Quotes from you and colleagues on women and HIV
with us to incorporate in the 2008 Women and AIDS guide by 30 May 2008, to Lauren Suchman, lksuchman (at) gmail.com and copied to athenainitiative (at) gmail.com.
